Welcome!

Our History

It Started in a Harvard Dorm

While Mark Edwards was still an undergraduate at Harvard, the dean of admissions asked him to create a video that would appeal to prospective students. It was wildly successful and inspired requests from other colleges.

After graduation, Mark launched Image Presentations, Inc. Over the next decade, he built a highly successful company that produced videos for admissions offices and capital campaigns in the education space.

And Grew Into a National Brand Strategy and Communications Firm

When more private schools, colleges, and universities asked for his help with other areas of marketing communications, Mark founded Edwards & Company to offer a broader range of consulting support, including brand and message development, and creative services for traditional and digital media.

The company’s client list rapidly expanded to include Agnes Irwin, Deerfield, Exeter, Groton, Harvard, Madeira, MIT, Oberlin, Smith, St. Paul’s School, and Yale.

In 2012, Mark hired Maria LaTour Kadison as president to run the day-to-day operations of the firm, and in 2015 she purchased the company and changed the name to EdwardsCo.

With the Expertise to Tie Brand Strategy Directly to Enrollment Growth

Maria’s expertise connects branding to enrollment growth. No school has the luxury of branding for branding’s sake. She built a team of experts in education market research, admissions, and retention to compliment the team’s branding and creative teams. Each of these areas of expertise is integrated with the others for the sole purpose of helping private schools and select colleges build and sustain enrollment.

Partnership with clients is our key to success.

If you succeed, we succeed.
